Center
Construction on our fourth facility, another
Orphan Training
Center, is progressing well after
delays related to the Beijing Summer Olympics.
We will start off with 30 to 40 orphans.
Here is a short list of items we must have to bring
Beijing South into operation:

grand opening ceremony was held on
October 12, 2008
at our fourth orphan training center located south of
Beijing.
Over 400 people attended the event, including government
officials and community leaders.
This
location is dedicated to staff training, orphan training in
traditional Chinese performing arts, and rehabilitation for
disabled children.
Presently,
there are seven children at this facility, which has the
capacity to house up to 100 orphans. Two of these children are
survivors of the
Sichuan
earthquake. We are
in the process of selecting more children to live here.

Fu Jian Living Hope
Children's Home
The
move from two floors of the government orphanage to our new
five-story building nearby for the children in our care in Fu
Jian is scheduled for February 2009. We are all very
excited to move the children and their caregivers into
family-style apartments that will provide a safe and loving
environment - the home these children have never known.
