Jean’s father was hit by a car, resulting in brain damage and partial paralysis. He became a beggar and one day wandered away never to return. After that, Jean lived with her grandparents who were ill and impoverished. She was very unmotivated when she first arrived at our home, but has made considerable progress. She is well-liked and enjoys singing and dancing.
