Scott’s mother was mentally ill. She wandered away and never came back. His father was killed in a coalmine collapse. Scott was far behind Academically and had difficulty expressing his feelings and viewpoints. He has made good progress in school, and with his pleasant personality and the other virtues he possesses, will become a useful person in society.
