Ruth’s father was killed in an auto accident in 1996 after which her mother left , abandoning her. She went to live with her grandparents who were too poor to support her. Ruth placed very low in Chinese and Math when she first arrived, but now achieves scores of over 90 on all her tests. Ruth is clean, organized, respectful and kind. She is willing to admit mistakes, and is considerate of the interests of others.
