Rachel’s parents both died in an auto accident in 2004. She went to live with her grandparents, who were not able to provide for her. When she arrived at our home, she was thin and frail, ill-kempt and dressed in rags. Rachel was put in a class with older children because we did not have 1st & 2nd grades when she arrived, but she was given extra care and attention. She has caught up with her class in her studies, and is now an outgoing, happy little girl, full of kindness and compassion. We are confident she will grow into a beautiful, elegant young lady.
