Roger was born with a broken spinal cord and was abandoned by his parents at a very early age. He was raised by a local pastor until the pastor died in 2004. After that, a woman from the church took him in until her husband became ill. Roger came to live at our home in 2006, after which he had surgery to repair his spinal cord, with financial assistance from his church. Roger is now healed. He is an intelligent and polite boy, and is a model student.
