Matthew was two years old when his father was killed in an auto accident. His mother left the following year to marry another man, leaving Matthew and his twin brother whose brain was damaged from birth, to their grandpa. Before coming to our home, Matthew was attacked and badly bitten by a dog. Matthew has responded to the love and care and security of our home by becoming increasingly lively and outgoing. He is an excellent student.
