Jack's father died from liver disease when Jack was eight years old. His mother soon left home to remarry. Jack went to live with his grandfather, who was too old to work. They were very poor. He came to live at the orphanage at his grandfather's request in 2004. Jack has been able to concentrate on his studies here, and has become an excellent student. He is generous and loving, always willing to lend a helping hand to younger children.
