Lo Lo's father was injured on a job in 1986. Because he did not have money for medical treatment, his wound gradually developed into a bone infection, causing pain and paralysis. In the meantime, he married and had three children. The first child, a girl, was learning disabled. Lo Lo's mother left to find a new life, leaving LoLo's paralyzed father and three children with her grandmother, who had no source of income. Lo Lo and her brother, Yo Yo, arrived at our orphanage in August of 2003. Lo Lo is an active, outgoing and happy child now. We continue to work with her to overcome the bad behaviors resulting from lack of care and discipline in the past.
