Jason's mother left home when he was 7 years of age. His father was later murdered. Since Jason's grandparents were dead, he was taken in by a great uncle. His great uncle gave him up for adoption, and then he was given up again, this time to a farmer who abused him. Jason's great uncle became terminally ill, leaving Jason again with no one to care for him. He arrived at our orphanage in December 2005. Jason has done very well in school since coming here, and is in the top 10 of his class.
