Joseph was the youngest of four boys in a poor, but love-filled family. Everything changed when his father was killed in an accident in the factory where he worked. The boys ran wild, lacking parental guidance and discipline. A year after his father's death, Joseph's mother abandoned the boys to find another husband. At that point, they went to live with their 80 year old grandmother, who had no income. Joseph arrived at our home in December of 2001. He has made remarkable progress here, and we have great hopes for his future.
