Ruth's father bought a young woman from another province, and she gave birth to Ruth and an older brother. Her father was reputed to have a bad temper and to be hard to get along with. Ruth's mother left when she was 6 months old. Her father was hit by a car and killed in 1992. Ruth and her brother went to live their 86 year old grandmother, who was very impoverished. Ruth arrived at our home in December of 2002. She has worked hard to become a good student and is now a pretty, smart, loving and caring older sister to the younger children in the orphanage.
