When Mary's father was diagnosed with cancer, the family spent all their savings for his treatment. Nevertheless, Mary's mother did all she could to support Mary and her brother after her father died. She died from Uremia in 2001. Mary arrived at our home in August of 2002. She began attending public school immediately and was recognized by the community as a model student with high scores in all subjects. She is now attending a vocational school.
