Kathy was abandoned, and was sent to a government orphanage at the age of 4.She has congenital achondroplasia and bow legs. Kathy arrived at our home in 2004 at age 10. She is a bright girl who did well in home, but did not apply herself to her full potential. Also, she was not considerate of others. Through the love shown to her by our staff, Kathy began to become aware of others feelings and felt that she was truly a part of a family. She is progressing well in those areas.
