Emma was born with paralysis in her right arm, although she still has use of her fingers. She was abandoned at 3 months of age and taken to a government run orphanage. When she arrived at our home, she was lacking even rudimentary skills of hygiene and social interaction. She was put in Grade One in September of 2006, but is still struggling to gain the skills needed to progress to the next grade. We are praying for a breakthrough for Emma.
