Becky had no memory of her past when she was found at 6 years of age by a government employee and taken to the orphanage, where she lived until the age of 12. She was born with a cleft pallet, and had difficulty speaking after corrective surgery. Becky was very withdrawn when she first came to live at our home, but was gradually won over by the consistent love shown to her. Becky is studying piano and works very hard at her studies. She has become more sociable and is willing to help with housekeeping tasks at the home.
